1. Right click on a blank part of your screen, and on the menu that appears choose "Properties" (XP). With Vista, it says "Personalize".
  2. In the window that says "Display Properties", choose the tab on the far right that says "Settings". Vista says "Display Settings".
  3. Adjust the "Screen resolution" slider on the bottom left to be at least 1024 by 768 pixels. At this resolution you should maximize the window so that it takes up the whole screen.
  4. We recommend a higher setting than 1024 by 768. The higher you set the screen resolution, the better and finer the graphics look.
  5. Also set "Color quality" to the highest setting.
  6. Then click "OK".
